Daniel Kvist / Work / Kasthall
Since 1889, Kasthall have created unique, contemporary woven and hand-tufted rugs for floors all over the world.
Back in 2012, Kasthall reached out to us and wanted to step up their game when it comes to the digital brand experience. At the time the brand primarily relied on a reselling business model and wanted to explore and move closer to the end-customer by taking an e-commerce approach.
My assignment was to create their digital brand experience based on the further advanced physical brand experience concept. At the time the digital touch points such as website, newsletter and the popular rug designer tool wasn't aligned in a cohesive premium and luxury brand experience. As Kasthall stepped into the digital age they also wanted to explore storytelling through video when they launched the new site. I helped Kasthall to create three movie concepts. The first one tells the story about the magic world of Kasthall and the other two more focused on the craftsmanship and the endless design opportunities.
